Had an opportunity today to purchase a baby flytrap from the local nursery where I was getting my xmas tree.. Didn't think anything of it until I was half way home. Would be useful for airborne pests, no? Anyone have experience with these little guys?

I have lots of experience with them, been growing them for 6 years. The plants you get from the store are already half dead. They need dormancy, distilled-rain water, peat moss/sand-perlite soil or they will die. The pest have to be big enough to trigger the hairs on the trap for it to close.. They wouldn't be much use for a grow room unless you have flies. The best book on them is The Savage Garden..

Thanks for the info dude, glad I saved the 8$ now :)

Cheers and good vibes

Its still worth looking into.. Pitcher Plants are extremely sexy, they scream sexyness more than Mary J. Yup they do, would love to see some growers flower a pitcher plant. I have trouble waking them up from dormancy then they rot.
