As for water I have well water but goes threw a water softener

I would imagine that getting water before it regenerates would be best. I can put a valve in the line before the softener too if need be.

I also have easy access to one of those RO water machines.
Can anyone give me any input on either of the kinds of water I will be using?

And when the pH level has to be adjusted after mixing the nutrients what would I use to do that?

a lot of the good quality nutrients have PH buffers in em. If you use the R/O water and you nutrients are mixed per the manuf. should be good to go.

thank you mutt!

as for pH testers do i need a electronic one or something like the pool water test kit?
