what are those egglike things in the picture part?

has anyone looked at the picture posts and seen the one plant with the leaves that have the eggs underneath? i was wondering what kind they were and if they just host the eggs or if the certain insect or whatever kind it is eats on the plantsafter hathing? i have the same thing discovered on my tomatoe plants yesterday.!wonder if they are harmful?............................lefty
