Definately.... if it is cut too deep tie a pencil or something hard by it to hold it up.... it'll make a kinda knot over the wound after a few days it'll hold.
 
if its only one piece the plant wont even notice it. if it was the main shoot it will send energy to the lower/outside shoot.
just about eveyone will brake a limb or two every few grows.

thanks guys. That takes a load off. Guess I'll pick up the pieces and dry them off for an early taste. I've never cut a plant before it's time so I've never experienced first hand what it would do. Guess I'm to damn patient. :D

4th week of flower don't expect too much...not saying don't do it...just don't make any real opinions on the plant from the results. K? ;)
 
Plants can recover from some amazing injuries.

I remember when I used to stress upon breaking a branch LOL.

Don't worry about the hermie part.
