How much should I let the seed germinate?

"I" prefer to soak the seeds for 12-24 hours in ph adjusted water, then directly into a quality organic soil, wether they have cracked or not.
"IMHO" handleing the seeds after they sprout "tails" only serves as an unecessary step, that provides an oppurtunity to muck it up

I germinate them right in the soil. Plant the seed, cover with about 1/8 inch of soil, keep soil damp until you see it sprout. No handling of seedling whatsoever (the way nature intended).
