Blue Dream auto is in week 11 above ground and trichomes are still clear but smell is getting stronger. I'm probably late to the party... again..... but I'm wondering if this is about the time I start my 2 week flush of ph balanced water. Then 48 hours of darkness and chop, wet trim and dry.

Well I am happy to hear I get a few more weeks of nutes for this lil girl. I assumed being a sativa she would go a few more weeks but, if I would've been going by the book (first time grower) I probably would have cut them down by now and they'd be drying out. Thanks to folks like you who are willing to pass on your knowledge and willingness to help, greatly appreciated! Can not wait to let my wife know to let it mellow! Trainwreck is making a slight comeback as well so all 4 of my first time girls are doing well, thanks ya'll! That has been the greatest tool, spending each day studying the flower and trying to interpret her needs. Actually understanding what the fukk you guys are saying is so helpful. REcently figured out the 10% run off and how to calculate PPM and PH for each plant to make my adjustments. Learning how PH absolutely affects the delivery of the nutrients to the plant. Its absolutely amazing watching these girls go from a tiny brown seed into something so powerful and healing, and yes, the euphoric high is great!

Any good seed sights where folks trade or send freebies on extra seeds. I want to experiment some more and grow some feminized photoperiods but dont want to pay the $10 / seed just yet, still figuring out this germination and seedling course. Would be open to autoflowers and/or photoperiod, just eager to grow and learn more.

give them about 2 more weeks then commence with the flushing
Its now been two weeks and she was fed her last supper last night. First timer - so for the next two weeks I just give her ph balanced water after she dries out until 2/28 and then place her pot in darkness for 48 hours and then chop chop , wet trim and hang in dark for two weeks???

Do you have a scope where you can check the trichomes? How long have they been in flower? If you fed them last night now only water until you harvest. And last after 48 hrs of darkness. And last after harvest wait until the branches snap before going on to the next step. Dry or wet trim? And 1 to 2 days in a sack before going to jars.

Yes, I have a Jewelers scope I use but lets be honest, i am not sure what I am even looking for. Some look clear, I can see some amber brown filled, some look cloudy but to me they look more clear than anything. Hoping in 2 weeks they are good and cloudy. Yes, when drying them I did read about the snap but dont break the branch approach , planning on a wet trim. 1 to 2 days in a sack prior to jars? Then cure in jars for 30 day while burping 1-2 per day for 20-30 minutes then another 30 days with a 62% humidity pack and a temp/humidity monitor

Sacks help wick moisture out of the bud. If you go to jars to soon they will re-hydrate and possibly cause a lot more work burping the jars. You don't want to put the bud in jars to soon or to dry. Delicate situation and takes practice. The curing process doesn't really start until you can leave the lids closed and only open periodically to let out the gasses.

Many many skip this but I am old school and to stubborn to change my ways......old men are like that.

Slow down your dry a wee bit, you will not regret it. hang the plant as a whole plant removing just the larger fan
leaf material. If a very large plant, break in 2 or 3 pieces. slow dry it for 2wks + and don't have fans blowing on the
plants to help dry them but just circulating air. The slower you dry it the better it will be.

If you wait to trim when it's dry, you get much better scissor hash and it's much easier to handle.

If keeping it for yourself, don't worry about a close trim as many of the small leaf is covered with goodness.

100% Milky is min on harvest. clear is speedy and goes away very fast too...

amber is degrading THC and where you get your lethargic stone from, so it's easy to get a few diff highs off
of one plant by chopping parts of it at different times.

just some fuel for thought... enjoy your harvest bro

I hang mine and go by the feel when I pinch the bud. Then straight into jars and burp burp burp.
I don't use the dry breaking stem deal. Never lost weed to mold while curing.
