Day 66 since 12/12. One girl shows 10% amber. The rest just nope. Trichromes start bending for some reason that i dont know and as you can see 2of my girls got melted trichromes ?!?! New growth appears and new white pistils. Some foxtail too .. no temperature changes, lights and humidity all the same. What makes me worry too is that i can see a lot of trichromes that got a light yellow colour too, hard to see but if you play with camera angles you can see it .

Day 70 , i chopped everything! At day 68 i realized something. I used to check trichromes with usb microscope with lights closed. When I turned one of my leds on to get some more light i found out that all those glass like trichromes where. Actually amber. Used a friend's phone with crazy camera too. Got 50-60% amber... I hope its still smokable. Everything is drying at 18c 60% humidity right now, same for trimmings. Should i go for kief and then press it in to a ball or bubble hash? Need to make some money out of this. Any idea ?

It will certainly be smokable. If you are seeing 50-60% amber(the close up photos don’t show much amber at all), it will be couchlock smoke. You won’t know until you try it. I would dry an cure the flowers and make keif, bubble, tincture, oil or butter out of the trim.

Found this today. Paper Doybag that is used for coffee/herbs storage. 30x20cm resealable. Costed me 10euros for 50 pieces. I think its worth it, grove bags too expensive

Last post here. We made it guys! After 2 weeks of curring all i can say is that it hits hard ! Really sweet taste and scrog helped a lot. 13 girls with six weeks veg gave me 1.5kg. very uplifting, if you hit a second blunt thought it will send you to sleep. What i noticed is that at week seven of flowering i turned leds on 100% and after few days a lot of pistils just disappeared . Maybe leds burned them. Thats why maybe smell is just good and not that strong.

Leds vs Hps. Leds won by far especially with their deep light penetration. Thats all guys thanks for helping me again ! See you in next grow ( going for a sativa dominant this time)

FYI I use a 15x clip on single macro lens on my iPad then put it on video then zoom in and take a video of the trichomes. Then I can just scroll through and catch the focus events that happen as you get close and move the tablet. For 20 seconds of video I get like 2 or 3 clear frames

Bro what i see here is maybe 70% milky 25% clear and maybe 5% amber or less.
Im too bad at understanding trichromes colour thought

That’s about right although the amber in the trichomes should be in the ball at the end of the trichome not at the base. When I have 30% amber “globes” it will be time. Then I plan on leaving a layer of the lowest buds to harvest at like 80% except for that dwarf NL while will go in one shot.

I believe that taking the videos gives me the best overall view of trichome development but I won’t know that 100% until I see the final results.
