hey people..i just put some earthworms in my cup with my seedling..i heard that the worms are good for the soil, thus good for the plants or somehthing like that..just wanted to ask if anyone else has tried it..

damnit..one of the worms "popped" out and was wriggling on the ground outside the cup..but i went out and found a bunch of 'em and put 'em in a container..figure, when i transplant into buckets, that's when i'll put the worms in..

lol dude those worms are only to loosen the soil ,i would have vever put them in there unless your growing outside

Worms eat uncomposted vegatable matter, of which (hopefully) there should be NONE of in your soil.
They will starve to death, which is probably why one of them was trying to escape.
Worm shit (castings) is an excellent amendment inside or out, and worms in outdoor soil means the soil is healthy, but inside it's a no go.
