i like promix... use fox farms (sea stuff forget what they call it) as addition nuitrition. bcuzz has good stuff if you cant get promix i pay less than 30 dollars for large bags of either whatever you get make sure it has plenty of pearlite as that retains moisture. trans plant is easy turn...

why add a chem to stunt growth sorry very ignorant on this but why not just cut some of the growing tips from the top? this will encourage the bottom to grow and slow the top from growing out for 3 or 4 days. plus you will get more branches out of your upper branches. making the plant bushey.

smaller pots also allow you to keep the babies closer together thus allowing you to put more light over less surface area.

should try to take clones from bottom anyway... and you can clone deep into flowering had a crop failure last week took clones from plants that have been 12 12 for 7 weeks maybe longer. but i would never recomend this it is good to keep in mind.
