Can either one run both a MH bulb and HPS bulb? That's what Convertible ballast means. The sun system 2 might get a little more hot since it has a built in ballast. Overall they are probably about the same. I would go with the one with the remote ballast, just for the heat..

I'm not sure but I think that the 1000W bulbs are too big to put in the cool tube that she made. You might have to adjust some things. I could be wrong though.

It is a Jardin tent. Since its only my veg tent its a 2x2 with a 250w mh. The 400W hps is going in a 2x4 tent.

No they have been in 12/12 for about a month now. I checked for light leaks and there are none. I did take them out early the other day and they may have gotten an extra hour of light for the set up, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Building the cool tube could be an option. just trying to keep from having to buy extra hood equipment than what I have already bought. I have the fan on the outside of the tent pulling the air out..

You don't want to flush them a week INTO flowering. Some like to flush when there plants are near the END on flowering. Its a personal preference though if you do want to flush near the END of the flowering.

duck, when you are cloning how long does it usually take to see root growth?

I'm just guessing but you could have over watered them. Maybe the roots have rotted. They need to dry in between waterings. Do they look rotted?
