The White Russian is also an auto, however I think I will try the mother plant and then cloning after this project, Im also thinking about a SOG too.

Hey all, apologies for the late update we have had a death in the family, I had a hospital visit and I got married so a bit intense.
Well here we are at day 40 and looking good. These were taken a few days ago and I have now started a new nute regime. They are now on a higher N.P.K with the focus on K. They are really starting to flower and the trichromes are now visible to the eye.

I will update again in less than a week as they are coming on very fast now. Have not changed the temp or humidity but they are drinking a lot of water daily now.
Any advice or comments more than welcome.

Hey all,

Day 56 and still having issues with temps and RH, it is 34c and 100% RH outside though.

2/3 are looking well in advance of the others and I think that they are the RRF (All the tags were removed - long boring story)

I think in a few days the 2 or 3 will be ready for a couple of days of darkness and no water before they get harvested.

Really, really cant wait.

-Why not box in the plants, just bigger than the hoods? Looks like some loss of light that could be bounced back toward the plants.

Smoke my piece - yes I will box for next time if I dont get any more hoods - there is a lot of light that is wasted.

Hemp Goddess - What you mean by "they probably have weeks ago"? I checked them yestserday and they were mostly milky with a few clear.

I thought it best to wait for them to be all milky with some turning amber - is that the case?

I read that 2 days of dark before harvest will produce more trichs/potency.

EDIT - OK too early - re-read what you wrote. Some def need a couple of weeks. 2/3 of them have pistons turning red/orange and swelling a lot. I am just waiting for the trichs to turn all milky with a few amber before I harvest them.

nice grow dude!! u sure they r autos? they are huge!!! anyhow as far as ur question.. Ill answer them the best way I know... now Im not an expert but I have been growing for years done a lot of reading and here is my
experience...

its a matter of prefrence when to cut them IMO the best time is when they r mostly cloudy and 10 % amber... but as people have told me and I found that my self... the thrics keep turning amber after u cut them. so they end up 50%amber 50 %cloudy n a few clear...
the more amber the more INDICA n heavy will the smoke b... the less amber the more SATIVA is gonna b. u have like a 2 week window to catch the max potency before their time they r weak... and if u wait a lil too long its not as active n looses potency.

as far as turning off the lights. thY SAY THIS because at night the trhich activate... Last time I turned the lights off for 2 days( be careful as u could get them to go hermie. or cause some mold to form because of the lack of light. to b safe One day should do it. and u dont water just to make the bud dry faster as it hangs... remember good curing requires a slow drying proces no less then 4 5 days and no more then 2 weeks.

flush for at least 3 days to 2 weeks... Ive done 3 weeks flushing And loved it... the best weed i have ever grown.. people were very satisfy with my flushing n curing.... k buddy hope I was of soem help Ill keep watching

Hey Doc, thanks and they are all autos - photos were day 56. What I find is that were I am there is no specialist shops and hard to import so it was done with normal soil mixed with perlite and verm, added some crusehd up limstone later on.
The nutes or rather plant food was all normal plant food with the best NPK I could find and the most expensive was €4.50 - well happy with that

I think that it was research and care and love that did it, My temps and RH have been quite high but so far hasnt had too much effect.

Thanks for the tips on the darkness and for the curing. The trichs are looking quite milky on 3 of them and they have really started to swell with around 10/15% of pistils turning orange. They have been on normal water for around 4-5 days now and I expect to harvest them sometime next week the other the week after and maybe the week after that too.

I will post some more pics on wed/thurs as that would have been another week.

IMO, the dark period at the end wont really do anything, also the flushing wont either, i wouldnt flush.

when you start to get near the trich colour you want take a few sample buds, you wouldnt want to cut down all those beautiful plants too soon.
