Well i've heard that the average ratio of male/female plants is 50/50. Well my grow of 10 came out a little less fortunate only being a father of 3. Although I know's there's nothing I can do, I thought I might start a chatty thread of what steps all you guys think may cause the ratios to be what they become. I thought I was luck y till I go away for a few days and ocme back and see a bunch of balls. This was my first grow so what I would of takin pictures and asked but the males are just very obvious. Let's see what you guys think.

leeping temps nearer 22C than 28C will contribute.
using hps on seedlings, the MH on main veg cycle and for the 1st week of bud then back to hps again for the rest of bud.
something like that, i cant rememba where i read this (here i think) but its upposed to give you a better female to male ratio.
