A peek into my grow room - warning, bud porn!

These are the first rough shots with the new camera. Which is a 12MP Nikon. I chose it specially because it supposedly can focus at one inch and I'd like to do some macros. Anyway, U guys have all been super patient with me unable to post pics and nobody has even once posted ostpicsworthless:

and so I am staying up late tonight, :joint: here are the pics.

These first two are close-ups of the Black Domina colas.

Now here is the Blue Mystic. One of the colas. They're about, oh, maybe 5" at the mo and they still have a long way to go. Problem is, you can see how close to the lamps she is. That cola on the left is being hit by the 120W CFL cluster from about 3" away and has the 150 HPS only about 6" overhead to the side. The HPS is hitting the more remote one.

I have not seen any appreciable difference between the buds on the HPS and on the CFL sides. This leads me to believe that it is the nature of the spectrum absorbed by fan leaves and then distributed all over the plant in the form of building materials, that determines how the buds form.

Got a little nute burn, so I reckon I'm at max with her right now, using MGBloom 15-30-15 and occasional (now getting very scarce) my home made mix of potassium and ammonium phosphate crystals.

NOTE the lack of trichs compared to the Domina.

And finally, second picture, a peek into my grow room. That's the Black Domina on the left and part of the Blue Mystic on the right. You can see that I'm using mixed spectrum in there. I am even considering hitting them with the 450W mercury vapour lamp for a couple of hours daily to give them a suntan.

Nice Leaf! How much did you have to dish out for the camera? I'm asking because I need to buy one to...I have had the "this thread is worthless without pics" dancing across a couple of my threads. The only time I posted pics, I had to borrow my daughters cam, and have her help me post them, which caused a huge argument...so I need to just get my own, and learn how to post, which I have had several offers by other members offer to walk me through that...so I just need the cam...that looks like a nice one!

It seems super easy to use. I paid $160 for it but I think you can get it for less than that online. You'll also need a memory card, I bought a 4GB chip for around $15, how cheap these are now, amazing. Model is a Nikon Coolpix S570. You can find good 10 megapixel cameras for around $100 with similar features and it is hard to tell the difference. Main reason I got this was the 5x optical zoom should help me get better macros.
