anyone know about NY State/City penalties for growing

I just had a birthday party at my house for my 3 year old,and I heard a couple parents went down to my basement and saw my operation....now this is brooklyn and the parents are 'cool',but I also knoe people gossip,and I'm feeling paranoid...maybe its just the dried leaf I been smoking...anyone know ??
