7. Please post all of your pictures on this site. Linking to other sites has inherent risks involved that should be kept to a minimum if at all possible. We have both a Gallery and the ability to post as many as 3 pictures with each post you make. Please post your pictures here, instead of linking to them. Also we discovered that quite a number pictures hosted on other sites gets deleted after some time making the threads worthless on our forums.

also curious if you should soak the rockwool during flooding or just brng the water level to just below the rockwool.

seems to make it more complicated than it has to be. I prefer DWC to flood and drain simply because there is one les resevoir, but flood and drain has it's advantages. Since you are newer to growing if you want to go Hydro I would go DWC, much more forgiving IMO. Ony your first go around I would do some in soil as well just for comparison sake, let's you see how much better the hydro is. And then if you do make a mistake on your first go with hydro, which is not uncommon, you can still have some plants in soil just in case so you don't lose your whole crop.

As far as the flooding goes, you just want to make sure you do not flood to a level that can be hit by light. In other words, if you flood to the top of your rockwool cubes, and the top of your rockwool cubes are exposed to light, you may start to get algae or some other fun stuff growing on your cubes......no bueno.
