Well I am tired of living in the United States, living in fear that I will get screwed for nothing just to be another number on some pot bust police quota.

I don't have a college degree but I have several years of experience in programming and information tech, currently get paid 28 dollars an hour...

Looking for a country where there are decent jobs in technology and that I can grow in my appartment/house without having to worry about getting screwed.

I hear the Netherlands is pretty good, not sure about the job market there tho. I am willing to learn another language...

Any suggestions?

California....we are our own country.

yeah but you still gotta worry about the DEA right?

Move to Canada my friend. Pot laws are the best here. I've been arrested, searched and put in the drunk tank for various reasons, and every time I have had weed on me. Even like 8 years ago when I was still a youngin I got stopped with a fat bag and some pre rolled joints and alls they did was confiscate it. Usually you get a ticket for 50 dollars but if you play it cool they will usually just take your stash.

As for plants, anything under 7 plants you're only going to get a charge, no court date, no hassle, they'll just take you plants and slap you a ticket and tell you tpo have a nice day. The thing is, this is highly unlikely as they cops have bigger fish to fry, actual profitable grows in either newly made, or newly renovated housing.

When I was living in London, Ontario I would go to Victoia Park every 20th of April (4:20) and there would be thousands of people in circles getting high. And of course, there were live reggae bands, hackee sack tourney's etc. And at the strike of 4:20 everyone cheered and lit up. Good times.

Wow sounds awsome, how is Canada job wise?

I would move to cali if i could, i would like to see Steve Meade's system in person and get my grow on. Its just too cold in Canada. I hear some of the best buds come from California too.

BC and Ontario are booming in the technology industy. I know Ontario has a lot of video game developers coming from USA to help with games produced in Canadian headquarters. (Rockstar North is a Canadian developer)

Ontario and British Columbia are both really great Provinces, both with there share of beauty. Did I mention free health care??? Lol.

Too cold? Every heard of a toque?? Hahaha, it's really not that bad weather wise in Ontario, and BC, but once you hit the praries and maritimes you're getting into bitterly cold, and unpredictable weather.

Too cold in Canada, that's kinda silly to say. So that means when you cross the border in Buffalo, it's colder in Niagra Falls. And once you leave Windsor, are you welcomed by the warm weather of Detroit? The US is cold too :p

Think of it this way, our cold winters see every single household's power usage sky rocket. So when your outdoor is done and over and you start some indoor, no one is gonna give a care when your hydro bill shoots up 20, 30, or 40 dollars.

How hard is it to get a citizenship in Canada coming from the USA? I have a history of work and good pay even though I have no education above high school.

The free health care sounds awesome. I heard there are some pretty bad lines for things like Cancer though. But hell, isn't that what we have bud for :hubba:

Not very hard at all as long as your criminal record is clean. :) Education has nothing to do with it so no worries.

Free health care is awesome, and yeah, when it comes to Cancer there is a lot of waiting and wondering however it's much improved over the past few years and the specialists we have in Canada are looking out for your well being. llot of the reasons for these wait times is because the Canadian Cancer Society is trying methods that have worked for others in the past.

America is more for the idea of giving a patient as much medication as they can to stop pain and slow the process. Canada has been more of a pioneer by trying different medications and different dosages that have helped or benefited people in the past.

Why do you think the US has so many problems with medication killing patients, simply because it's more of an in and out thing, they give everyone some new drugs without testing or researching.

I have a completely clean slate! Only been to court once, had an out of date inspection sticker, but got it cleared :D

Canada sounds great... I am going to look for a job up there.

Well then no worries my friend. If you're really serious about this then browse the internet on stuff about Ontario or British Columbia to get an idea of what both provinces can offer to you.

Not if your growing for personal.

Nope.

They want the BIG guys or like to bust clubs who do not play by the "Rules".

I recommend either Canada, The Netherlands or New Zealand.

how about this..

where to grow big and play big..and not to worry.. nothing to worry...

I think we can grow up to 5 plants in holland I think? and I think we only can allowed to grow few in California? so that go same for Canada? or is there a permit that you can grow big? like big SOG of moms?
