IMO... I like to keep my room around 72F - 78F but as long as your girl
seems to be handeling the temps I would say your ok, but I wouldnt let it get any warmer ! :)

yea i put a small fan in the closet to direct the heat into the attic i have a dryer duct attached to the fan . also the air conditioning unit is in my closet or at least halfways . but yea she seems to take it fine but at the beggining it was over a 100 degrees in there now i have a 8' ceiling persay if i raised thelight could that bring the temp down?

If you can get an air cooled hood it would bring your temps down tremendously ! My room temp came down 30F just from cooling the light:hubba:

well i already put a hole in my hood and attached the duct to it and im using a squirlcage fan to draw some heat out but its not working to well

Make sure that you have no light leaks in your flowering room. Even a small light leak will affect flowering. It must be absolutely dark.

I would try and get the heat down to around 80. I run my 12/12 lights during the night in the summer to help with heat issues.

yea wen the lights go off i shut the door.its light tight :D but even at night time the temp is the same here in florida . i just want to prevent having to cut holes in my ceiling

Know anything about HVAC? You could cut a small hole (3" x 3" in your output duct). For a few years, the code fools made us put walls around AC units in attics in Florida; we'd then cut a small hole in the output duct to cool the room. You'd be surprised how cool it keeps the room even in the attic in the sub-tropics. 89 degrees is pushing it. I would see if I could get it down below 85 anyway. More heat = less CO2 uptake + a chance of mold due to inadequate ventilation.
