CFL Color?+

I hear alot about blue spectrum and red spectrum i have 2 42 watt on one of my 2week olds and how do i determine what spectrum they are? Which ones do i need? Thanx guys..

You will need blue spec for veg and red for flower.Most cfl's are the red spectrum unless they say "Daylight" on the box.Here's a pic of my old cfl set-up.You can see the difference in the two daylights.

i belive u want 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower

Well my plants are not that big as of now but they are about 5 inches or so tall...but I am have time problems...I am need to be out of town in december so I have (today) put them on 14/10 lighting for two weeks and then 12/12 to finishen the flowering stage of my plants...so that they (hopeful) be read before my trip...

There are 10-2700k (red) and 2-6500k (blue).This was my flowering light.I veg with 2' grow lights from Wal-mart.
