I've got my grow journal up but thought this might be the best place for this question.

My WW spouts are one day old.

The research I have come across on distance to have CFL's away from new spouts hits the full gambit from 12" until they are a little more established to 4" to minimize stretch right off the bat. What gives?

For reference, the CFL's hanging above the spouts are 5500K with the side wall CFL's 2700K.

The temp showing in this picture is only 3 degree F warmer than the room my grow box is in. Temps will go down, I've been able to keep is at 75-76F.

Thanks

If you can touch the lights then so can your plants. Keep them a few inches away when they are seedlings but all in all it is not likely you will hurt your babies with a cfl. Looks like you've got plenty of lights in there bro, if you have any problems with stretching you can always pinch.
