Hi there,
first time poster here although I have been stalking the pages for a few weeks.
I'm looking for some help because I may have done something silly last night. I was firing up my 250watt MH light and accidently used my 600watt ballast with it. There was a little pop to be heard but the light lit up. It was only on for a couple of minutes and when I checked the casing after it was turned off it was fine, no obvious cracks or damage. I'm worried the extra wattage may have damaged the bulb. The ballasts are canatronics and you can use MH or HPS bulbs with them. There is nothing obviously wrong with it but I think the color spectrum is a little on the red side for a MH. Also the color spectrum isn't very stable, it sometimes changes from red to blue. The make of the bulb is philips master HPI-T plus MH.
Thanks for your help.
