Gaming Comp Question.

I know i have read about a few people on here talking about computer stuff which i have almost no knowledge of. I was wondering if someone could help me out im looking for a new computer to play games(daoc, CS, and maybe other online stuff) any recomendations? i dont want to spend a ton of money but i do need a faster computer cause mine is pretty laggy(internet is laggy too but im looking into one of those internet cards from verizon to solve that problem) Any one have ay ideas? Oh and im looking into a laptop cause i am a college student and it helps to take all of my work, music, and be able to be online at school.

Laptop is a no-no for a game station... You can have a decent game computer and spend the rest for a second hand type-writer laptop... I believe game spy has decent builds for gaming computers.
