How High to set light

How high would you set a 65 watt cfl daylight 6500k light from the top of a plant?

How many lumens does it say on the packaging?

I have had a quick look around and what I find is it ranges from 4,000 lumens to 6,800.

Whatever it says, it is not enough lumens.

Put your hand at the top of the plant then lower the light, if it burns your skin, it will burn the plant, so lower and raise the light until it doesnt feel hot on your skin
