How Late is too late?

I found that one of my 2 plants was male. I removed it immediately but I fear that it may have already pollenated my female. they've been flowering for a week. How can I know for sure?

Were the pollen sacks open like this?

If they were open you now have a pollinated female, if they were not open, think yourself lucky, you caught them in time.

no. but the main cola had developed quite a signifigant bud on it. It fooled me.

Yeah I figured. I was just worried about the repercussions of the sacks. I've already quick dried and smoked the bastard. I think I'll be ok. I'll find out for sure when the other plant is finished. If there are seeds then I learn my lesson.
