intense light or fluros to start

Ok so I'm a few days from taking my first clones. I have my mothers right now under the 1000 watt MH light and have plenty of room in there for clones. I also have a seperate room with 4 20watt compact fluros where the best mother from each strain will stay dormant until I need more clones. Which will be the best for starting out the new ladies? The main room is a bit hot w/ temps in the upper 80s and the fluro room with temps in the mid 70s. Thanks guys.

"cool" flourescents provide (IMHO) the perfect spectrum for rooting cuts.

yeah veg in the cool room. if you had some co2 you could add to the 1000 watt room it would help the plants endure higher temperatures.
