My First 150W HPS Grow

Hello everyone! Im new to this site, I figured there are some experienced heads in here that could give a novice grower some advice if he heads down the wrong path.

Here are my lil girlies about 4 weeks into their veg cycle..They are trainwreck x blue dragon. My buddy up in NorCal hooked it up the nugs and I had a couple of seeds in the bunch. He called it Brainwreck. It was purplek, and just smoothe, stoney smoke.

Soil: Roots Organic
pH: 6.0-6.5
Light: 150W HPS 24/0
Nutes: Fox Farm Grow Big every 5-7 days

here is my second attempt at posting some pics...These are my white rhino girlies..they are about 7 weeks into flowering. Ive been spraying purple maxx on them one day out of the week in the dark. I hope to see some massive trich development.

Also there is a full pic of my cab.. I have 2 150W HPS. there are 3 Brainwreck girlies, 1 Afgooey, 1 Bubbakush, and 1 G13 hashplant. I start flowering my babes when they reach 24'' tall. I stunt their growth with bushmaster, and so far i love it..I just need to perfect my doseages. Ive burned a some previous plants..

But all in all everything is great! i'll try to keep you all updated every couple days.

thanks for sharing the pics... lovely looking plants you have there :hubba: and looks like a nice little setup! What are the temps in the on average during the day period?

Also you said in your first post the were on 24/0 light schedule... but those babies are flowering! so do you have a veg setup aswell?

Someone asked me the other day about a 150 HPS ballast 'n light. how much did yours cost, if I may enquire??

Sure! I bought my 2 FloraLux lights from HTGSupply. They are about $120 a piece. You can get a better deal than that tho. Then I bought this econolight for $32 shipped to your door..The only thing is you have to do a lil re wiring. Nothing to crazy tho. Here is a pic 150W cooltube I made for about $50.

Thanks! I have sooo many plants all in different stages..I have some that are under 24/0 and then I have 7 under 12/12. I have to manually put them in the dark tho..Its kind of a pain in the ***. the temps are around 78-82 in the light and 74 in the dark. Humidity is around 30% Im constantly expanding and rebuilding.. I think I might get a 400W digital system, and put it on motorized rack....I havent made my mind up tho...

my econolight was $32 shipped to me USD..in the UK it should be cheaper, but I dont know how much shipping is. google econolight or htgsupply. also hydowholesale has some slammin deals... I made that cooltube for $50 tho..I'm hella proud of it!

Mine was $32 from econolight...I just bought another 150, and Im going to make another cooltube. I'm going to use my cooltubes for vertical lighting, and when I get some more cash I'll be putting a 400W digi ballast on a light moving light rack..Xmas is gonna tap my cash tho..maybe santa can hook something up??!

Here are my other lil girlies I have goin..I think they are in they're finishing up their 3rd week of flower. This was some gnaarrr weed I had back in march..It looked like a confetti of green, purple, orange, and loads of trichs. It was grown outdoor I know that much, so I hope to get some same results..

Im guessing the seeds were from a plant that hermied, because all of the seeds I germed were fem.

Soil: Roots Organic

Nutes: Foxfarm bigbloom, and tiger bloom. also bushmaster to stunt their vertical growth, and induce flowering(saves 2 weeks no stretch take that hydro!). Bushmaster also stacks the budding sites. I also have purple maxx, and gravity that I will feed later in flowering. Purple maxx as foliar when they go in the dark, and gravity at the end of the cycle to dense up the buds.

Light/Temps/Humidity: 150W HPS/76-80/35%-45%

started from seed in October, didnt record the first sign of growth.
