New Grower. All Help Welcome. Need Help with Nutes, PH, etc.

Hi, my friend recently started growing using a simple eb and flow hydroponic system, and he asked me to help him, but I have no idea how to. The system is hooked up and, as of right now there is one plant, and it seems to be doing fairly well, but thats just luck right now. I have uploaded pictures of exactly what he has as far as nutrients and the system go. I need to know how much of the nutes should he be using, which ones, etc. How much of the ph down would it take to get the water from roughly 7.0 to a 5.5 considering there is approx. 9 gallons on water in the system. What are the things in the white bottles in the pictures I have. He bought DNF A&B for both the vegitative and the flower stages and I assumed these were the nutes, so what are the white bottles. Also, as far as extaust fans in and out. He attached a vent tube from the extaust fan in his bathroom and has it near the plant to get the air out. He has a fan on the plant on low at all times and there are no windows in the bathroom to vent in fresh air. He does however leave the door to the room open, and in the other room has windows opened for ventilation. Will this be suitable for maximum growth? Is there an inexpensive alternative?

As far as the plant goes...its 3 weeks old. Its in a rockwool cube and the bottom of the container has hydroton in it. The light is a 400watt changable metal halide/sodium lamp. I would think it would be a little bigger if it had all the proper conditions. Does the plant look good? How long before I should put it into flowering?
