OTN's '09 AI Grow, Again.

After diligently nuturing a seed to sprout to beautiful 15" plant,
(8 weeks, mind you) she grew balls! Frustrated, I threw it out.

I now have 3 tinies in rockwool, and 5 more germinating.
I hopefully won't be screwed this time. I have to have at least 2 females.

I'm already backed up way late, harvest mid April, yikes.:holysheep:

I'm not really impressed with Nirvana's AI seeds, I think they're old stock.

Put another germinated to rockwool tonight (4).
4 left trying to sprout.

1 plant left of 25 total (Nirvana) seeds germed. Long story.:hairpull:
Tossed out a plant growing balls 4 days ago.
About 6" tall, alt nodes starting. Cut a couple of clones in
a few days, run a second grow a few weeks apart.

Only plant 6 1/2 " tall.
Cut 3 clones tonight, 1 more tomorrow.
Set her to flower tomorrow.
She, whom I grow for, only likes A.I.
I'll have to keep tight reins on a Mother,
because I won't buy from Nirvana again.

When did you get the seeds from Nirvana..???...
were they regular seeds or fem?/
and weird.. i just grew AI from nirvana.. no males.. due to fem seeds but also no hermi's.... that sucks on your behalf bro...

Just set the 8 1/2 incher under the 400 w HPS. Wish me luck.

13 days into flower.
I think I have a real A.I. growing.
Short and bushy.
Set to flower at 9 inches, 2 weeks later she's
only 15 inches so far.
Previous grows hit 65 -70 inches tall.:hairpull:
Great yields, but hard to control, height-wise.:angrywife:
It'll be nice to have a shorty for once.
4 clones took 2 weeks for proper roots to form.
I wasn't sure about 2 of 4 but
they all are coming around nicely.
If they behave, I'll Mother and run this plant all
year round. I need to build up reserve stash for my wife,
the one I grow for.

Day 27 flowering.
Set her to flower at 8 1/2". At that time I took 4 clones. She's now 29".
Now, after 2 weeks rooting, & 2 weeks vegging I'm setting 2 more under the second light, at 11".
She should be about done growing vert, starting to fill in nicely.
Hoping the next 2 will stop upwards assault at about 36".

My wife and I hand fed the first girl 24oz. of Floa nova bloom mix 3 times a day.
Tomorrow I get up of my lazy butt and set up the hydro system.:hubba:

Installed 2 new SunAgro bulbs, too.

This is only at 4 weeks. Wait till you see them in another 5-6 weeks!

Second grow staggered.
I'm running 2 grows 5 weeks apart.
Going to cut clones this weekend
for a third set... then done for the summer.
I'm going to keep a mother/clones for the fall
to start in Oct/Nov.

I grow enough to last the year in the winter.
Don't need to run both the A/C and
2 400 w HPS at the same time in the summer.
Window is wide open in winter to dissipate the heat.

Nutes changed today.

10 gal water.
25 tsps GH FloraNova
15 tbsps Budswel
2.5 tsps GH KoolBloom

PH'd to 5.90.

I calculate another 2 weeks or so for #1 (1 plant) till harvest. 29" tall.
I'll move #2 (2 plants) over to #1's position once it's harvested
and I have new clones to put in. Both 33" tall.

Cutting clones later. I think if I start them small (8"-9")
and prune properly, I can get 4 growing nicely under 1 light.

I just finished taking 10 clones from 2 Mothers I had vegging.
It should be about 1 1/2-2 weeks for roots, then best 4 get to veg
to 6"-8" tall then they go under the light, and a new Mother starts
in her little room.
