can i let my plants grow outside for a while- then bring them inside ? under lights? will that make good bud?

It is possible to do so, however...You would run the risk of insect infestation of your indoor garden. You cannot completely recreate what mother nature provides. With good seed,and a patient,well informed grower,an outdoor grow done to completion will produce fine bud.
PS-Don't jump the gun on the sex of your little one there. It may grow up to be a tranny

You should just either do it indoor or outdoor. I wouldn't change it mid way through. I would leave them outdoor. They will get much bigger outside in mother nature. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.
