where can u get a ph meter from without ordering it online?

i believe u can pick up a test kit at walmart the liquid testers if that wat u lookin for. go where they sell the water purifiers and stuff like that

try your local aquarium shop,they will point you in the right direction if they havnt got them theirselves,or simply look up an hydroponic store close too you

Pool and spa supply places also have them. The ph meter used for soil (which is cheap) is different than one used for water. Make sure you get the correct one. Buy calibration solution when you buy the meter.

which one is more critical or do i need both?

i'd just get the one for tha water and mixing your nutes.get a good one tho.they ain't cheap either.
