random bright yellow leaves

hi all! i have a couple of outdoor plants in early flower. they look happy enough, but i am seeing some yellow leaves in random spots. not just bottom leaves, not just old leaves, but all over the place at random. they are not yellow-ish, they are truly bright yellow.
i'd be grateful for any thoughts and advice.

thanks. i will take some pics in the morning. i suspect the pics won't be as helpful as normal though, as the plant looks great other than the random yellow leaves.

Are they only yellow on the tops? That's normal when the plant makes a transition to flower

no, entire leaf.
