some quick questions on lst?

well guys, i think im going to use lst on my new soon to be sprouts. i dont have to much height to work with and would like a decent yield, thats why im going this route. how long should i wait until i start applying the lst? there germinating right now, but have already popped and are about to sprout. also, would you guys reccomend pulling the light a little further away so the stems stretch a little bit, making it easier to apply the lst? second off, i could be wrong but this is done in increments right? i dont want to just tie the plant all the way down at once, a little bit each day? sorry, i've never gone this route and am very curious, read up on it just not super clear to me yet.

I wait until after a few nodes are on the plant myslef prior to training. but seen other start after the 2nd node. It's low stress training...as long as yer careful not hard to mess up
