My homepage is Yahoo but I have a Google toolbar that I don't pay that much attention to. Everytime I get off the computer I clear out my history and cookies. So I thought I was good.

I had a relative come over today and get on my computer. There was a blank tab that is next to the tab showing the page they are on. They hit it and it was a list from Google showing your most popular/visted pages. GROWING MARIJAUNA from Marijuana Passion was the first through fifth sites. I told them I only got on to visit with people from all over the world and not to get information on growing marijuana.

So if you have a Google toolbar, just clearing out your history and cookies is not enough. You actually have to go on to the toolbar and disable this function or anyone on your computer will be able to see all of your most visited websites.

Just an FYI...

next time tell them you made the mistake of clicking a link that took you to the site mistakenly. EVERYONE has done that. You can't go anywhere on the internet for more than an hour without somehow ending up on a porno site.

Heck I went online to check my yahoo email yesterday and somehow ended up in the OMG section staring at a headline about Lindsey Lohan, and to me that would be more embarrassing to explain than going to Mar passion.

I can't say that it is a mistake when it comes up before my bank website and the library (I love the library).

It is a list of your most visited sites. Not just the most recent. So not getting there by accident. Unless you checked out Lindsay Lohan 15 times yesterday (and in that case you should be embarrased).

It was easily explainable, even though I don't like explaining myself. I would rather explain than have people know that I grow. Just wanted to pass it along. Especially to those people with kids, who don't want them to know.
