This has been a brutal year to grow. Between high wind early to 100 plus degree heat forever and no rain. Plants are way behind where I was last year.
Apple Betty, Hawaiian Gold. Amnesia Auto, Durban Poison, Skunk #1.

I agree about the rough year weather wise , my adopted plants have taken a beating

but yeah , I agree with SG , your plants look good

what are you feeding them?

any bugs yet?

are you in the Midwest?

the volunteers , well , they are tough sumbitches and are chugging along

are you getting any obnoxious odors yet?

and I am curious to where your Durban Poison was sourced from?

apologies for all the questions , I blame the herijuana x blueberry

Durban Poison was Nirvana Seeds from Seedsman. Just recently due to advice, I used Potasium Silicate to combat the heat. I tried Fish Emulsion early on but got plants dug up due to critters liking it. I've fed Fox Farm a few times, but basically, it's a shitpot of water due to the heat. I;m in Arizona. I usually get worms to fight but it's only after the plants have flowered.

I’ve had good luck with Nirvana gear in the past and we love the Durban around here , especially the anise licorice peppery pheno

Arizona explains the heat for sure , I do not envy you

yep yep on the fish food , I learned the hard way gorilla growing in Oklahoma

that Monterey Bt with Spinosad really knocks the worms down when it is used diligently

enjoy the rest of summer and I hope you have a wonderful harvest

Mandala has a few nirvana strains. Raspberry cough 25€ 5 fem 10 reg. Super silver has 30€ 5 fem 10 reg. Amnesia haze 35€ 5 fem 10 reg. I want to try a couple.
I know when your smoking it you want a few good strains. I like just seeing how the plants look and smell.

Here are the latest pics. Been a brutal summer.

those plants look like they are digging the low humidity and high desert heat

If you look to the top of the first pic, you will see a few that aren't. 😕

Sativa's normally do good in heat. Are they getting plenty water?

Amazon has the 70/30 shade nets pretty cheap.

Just need something to tie it to. I used my house on one side and metal conduit on the other side attached to my stand up veggie box I made.
Look at the pictures in this link very carefully. The shade nets has metal eyes on them to tie too.
I've got two nets I put together. I overlapped them on one side to kill even more sun on that side because that's where the sun is in the hottest part of the day.
It starts shading around noon as the sun moves over from east to west.

I unfortunatly, have nothing close by. I think the unrelenting heat and no rain is my problem, more so than the sun.
