I have noticed a thin film/layer of a green algae like substance on the dirt in my pots, you think its ok or not? I realize a photo would prolly help but until then thanx
Replace top soil with new soil. A good test to see if the plant needs water is to scratch your finger
in the dirt an inch or two deep; if its dry then water, if its wet then wait a day then recheck.
