Lots of people prefer not to use MG because it has slow release nutrients in the soil. If you add extra nutes with the water then you can easily overfertilize. I myself like to add my own nutes and use fox farm ocean forest soil. they are a good company and their soil is good if you don't know...

The beans are actually branded from ken estes founder of GDP. I have no idea about the father but i feel safe knowing that its coming from the founder of the popular strain.

Thanks for all your replies. I actually have a collective here that sells GDP beans and was really shocked because like everyone says its clone only. I will definately give them a try from all your good comments about this strain.

ph is very important.. its what allows certain nutrients to be absorbed by the plant at different rates/amount. if you never had a problem then heck more power to you.. in soil the soil acts like a buffer so you as a grower can not kill the plant as easily. lets say you were indoors and in hydro...
