hey bizzy! best way to insulate the exhaust is to remove the hose that came with the unit. replace it with insulted flex duct from home depot or from a grow shop. Make sure it is UL rated for heat it should have flex duct inside a layer of pink insulation and a silver wrapper. remove the coller...
Hick is on to something. The single hose AC units build up a lot of heat. I have tried to run one in the past. Recently got a 2 hose AC it works a lot better but they are expensive. At the least insulate the exhaust hose Im sure its hot as hell.
Bizzy where is the second hose on the AC? where r u exhausting the hot air out of the AC? I can only see one hose hooked up from those pics. That is a 2 hose AC? I run a 13k btu in a bigger space with more light temps run 75-79 lights on.
The 24/7 lights should veg them faster. I looked at your grow journal it looks like you may have transplanted a little early. I go from beer cups to 1 gallons till they get good and strong then into the big containers(5-7gal smart pots w/ happy frog). JMO
I used one last summer for outdoor harvest. It worked well to do all the small buds. One thing you gotta trim as soon as u chop them down. Also you have to pull off all the big fan leaves cut the bud off the stem then into the machine. We hung all the big buds and trimmed them by hand.
Not sure what FF soil u r using. My guess is ocean forest. That soil is hot. No need to feed for atleast the first month some strain sooner. Give them some PH correct water.
Thats a 5gal squat pot. This plant was used as a mother so it never got tall just wide. She yielded close to 5zips.
Thanks Rockster for the kind words.
Thanks slowmo! The smoke is very smooth leans a little more to cheese side. Im not a good judge of strength. But a patient of mine with MS uses it for his day smoke. He says good pain relief without putting him to sleep.
Thanks Gman420! The 2 phenos i ended up with all turned red and purple at the end(10wks) this one had the bud weight. I dont run low temps never colder than 68F.
Thanks chef! Heres another pic of the keeper.
Also figure out your high water mark. ive lost whole crops to a freak storm. Some wetlands fill completely during heavey rain. There is nothing worse close to the end of flower.....
