Alright Halzey, are you using a contactor/relay? also is the timer a digi or a cheapie? Imo you should always use a relay or contactor if you wish to operate your HID grow light with a timer, I have used the sentinal 3k which has never let me down.

Neem oil is fantastic, it's never failed me. You can either spray or dip but i'd recommend spraying (using a pressure sprayer thing works a treat) also use a tiny amount of soap in the mixture and luke to warm water.

I found that using molasses adds at least 20% more weight and I didn't notice much change in taste (it just tastes more of a full flavour) but deffinately not a bad taste at all. The only way I can explain it is it's like canna boost or any good boost accellerator. Molasses is the way forward imo...

Heres what I used to do when doing a mud grow... After feeding I'd wait to see how long it takes for the top 2 to 3" of soil to dry (in my case 3 days), I then feed every 2 to 3 days from that point on. I found this works a treat.

1/4 strength for first week to 10 days then up it to 1/2 strength for the next week then 3/4 strength for the next 5 days and finally full strength for final stage. Also i'd personally only just water when you flush at the trasition stage (when they go into flower) and for the final 5-7 days...

EJ is the best product available for mud imo, been ages since i've done a grow mind you.. I found that it buffers at 6.2- 6.4 so never used to use ph down alongside it. Good luck with everything JR
