    stem growth issues

I am thinking it was stem rot and I stopped putting the plugs so deep in the hydroton which I think was holding to much moisture at the stem. I started some more, and have made the transition to the buckets and things are going well. Been at this for awhile and just got to comfy!! Thanks for...

    stem growth issues

Growing in hydroton for last 3 years with 1 or 2 issues. I do keep the pH and ppm in range and use advance nutrients G M B that manages both. Maybe just a bad spell. Thanks for the input always.

You people with 1000w HPS lights.....

I keep seeing that you are changing bulbs with the different settings on your 1000 watt adjustable. You do not need to change the bulb, leave the 1000 in and the ballast switch will regulate the light wattage!!!

Doing a grow with some cherry kush in hydro using advance nutrients G M B. my issue is when I first put the plugs from a young seedling, 3-4 weeks, into the hydro bucket, no nutes yet, there develops a brown area about 2" above the medium level. It never recovers, has a weak brown spot and falls...

    Bug Help

I have done some more research and after taking a couple of the branches, I noticed that the stems are hollow!!! You can blow thru them. I must also note that the scope is a 100x with a measureing guide and they measure .01 of a millimeter. It looks like they are getting larger and maybe...

    Bug Help

Hey J-man, they are only damaging the buds and I see no signs of any other pest , only on the buds:( I did look them up online and they DO NOT look the same as they show. No real similar character features. It is actually drying the bud out prematurely. Wierd

    Explain PPM

I definitly think light is part of the problem. 400 for flowering, I would think, has to be a minimum to get the job done. I did get a new 600 watt MH for growing and use a 1000 HPS for flower and think I need another 1000. cant hurt anyway:)
