So i put the seed into the jiffy pellet last night...we didn't have those peat cups so we went with what we got...before we transplant them were gonna do the slits in the cup but my bf said it shouldn't matter when we cut em...and he's doing most the stuff in the beginning...i'm gonna pick up...

Is it ok to start the seed in a jiffy pellet or should i just start it in the soil?
