Getting pollen from pods

Hey guys, need some help. I killed my first male mj plant today, actually 3 of them. I cut some pods off them and was wondering if it is possible to still get pollen from them. They were only in flower 10 days. The strain is northern lights and i want to breed with some white widow im bout to order. Will the pods still open after i cut them off plant? Can someone please explain the procedure to me? I put them on some paper and folded it for now. Do they still need light? please help

No, the pods will not open. Sorry man. If you want pollen, you will need to let the males grow out longer and harvest the pollen from a live plant.

If you have a branch full of "balls" you can put that branch in a glass of water and the balls will open, but if you already cut the balls off the branches, then nothing can be done.
