Lawrence Cherniak's The great Books of Hashish.
Havent seen them mentioned anywhere here. This guy is insane! (was a high times contributor at one point (maybe still i havent read it in years), and i swear i saw him on TV during the first part of the iraqi war (for abc)- he spoke like 20 languages so it would make sense.
These books detail (from the 70') how to travel to exotic locations, how to find a seller, customs for each country so you dont get your head cut off by a local Hashasin. And then step by step full color photo spreads of the full process.
From afghani to royal nepal balls.
Do a google book search: i tried to post the results but i cant post a url till i have 15 posts. lolz.
Im sure these books are out of print by now, they look to be getting expensive. But the methods contained in the books are tried and true for generations and generations.
edit: just looked on ebay quick like, there is actual 1 copy for sale for like 10 bucks! no im not the seller, lol
