We're hearing a lot of reports on the UKCIA forum about contamination of herbal cannabis and we've seen a few examples of it.
This all started when the police carried out their much publicised raids against commercial growers a few months ago. The created a shortage and with that came the contamination.
To be hoenst we don't know what it is and what danger it may pose, but it seems to be some kind of sand in a goo which coats the buds. To the naked eye it looks like high quality cannabis, but when smoked it leaves a residue of fine sand.
The only image we've got hold of so far is this one
Those globs of clear liquid look a bit like THC crystals (which should be there of course) but there's rather too many of them and they're too big. The cannabis sparkles under a light. If you wet a fingure and rub the sample, then **** your fingure you get a mouth full of grit.
Any ideas for what to do about this?
