Holy crap, what country is LA in? I mean, last time I was there I was surprised enough at the billboards offering medicinal marijuana cards, but this is insane. Starting on Monday, people who have medical conditions such as glaucoma, cancer, and the deadly not-stoned-enough virus can start getting their fat buds from special "AVMs." These electronic drug dealers won't be out on the street next to a Pepsi machine, of course. No, they'll be "housed in standalone rooms, abutting two dispensaries and protected by round-the-clock security guards." To use them, you'll need to go with a prescription in hand, get fingerprinted and get a prepaid credit card that's loaded up with your dosage and what strain of weed you want. Yeah, no joke, the pharmacists in LA give you a choice between OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple. In the future, the machines may also be outfitted to sell other popular drugs such as Viagra, Vicodin and Propecia. Combine all four for a really interesting night that'll also slowly grow your hair back!
And here I was thinking New York City was a liberal town. When do we get weed vending machines, Bloomberg? Huh?

Who knows man! it is crazy, even though weed is basically legal in California (BTW) thats where the machines/ LA is, the federal government is still arresting those who use and grow marijuana. I was thinking today. I felt like I was doing something wrong by having these plants, but how can the government really put a law on something that needs sun/ligh/water to grow. Makes no sense to me... but hey. I gues thats why I am not a person of the law!

I wish Oregon would get clubs or Machines...that would be cool...thanks for the post....have a great day and stay safe

New York was the first State to introduce vending machines and what a great idea it is. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd see the day you could get a MJ recommendation, or a store you could buy it at. Every change in attitude towards MJ makes me shake my head and smile a little at the progress we've made as a Country

welcome to the divided states of america. theres nothing united about it. laws should be the same across the board. why should any state that is suppose to be in these united states have different laws, aren't we suppose to be treated equal.. why does a hand full states allow medical treatment that others don't. anyway i haven't smoked today so i think its time.

thought this was already happening? didn't this come out a few months ago?
