Old school grower

I have not grown in over 14 years about. I still have old school MH and HPS lights with magnetic ballast. What is the pros and cons going to led lights. I understand heat amd energy. But, do you get the same yield etc.

Everybody seems to be really happy with the LED lights, but I'm old school, too. If I was just starting, I'd go for 'em. At this stage in my life, I'll stick with my MH and HPS.

I would grow with what you still have, if and when you decide itis right for you then consider moving up to LEDS , I like LEDS myself.
Things run much cooler...

Oh just remember those old Ballasts can get HOT. I use to place mine up on a block of cement LOL
