Michigan would be so much farther ahead than it is with medical cards and likely the last proposal for recreational which had gotten enough signatures but they pulled out an old law that was used once back when it was created. So instead of a year to gather names this law said that only signatures with 6 months were valid. Many many if not all have had all years signatures counted. They just brought it out for cannabis. Both the Ag and governor were both hardcore anti cannabis and changed rules and messed with shops the whole entire time of the medical portion of the laws. and involved in making these things harder on the patient or other. So some police went with some rules and other police thought the rules were different. Still had several shops shut down twice in two back to back raids basically. Imagin when only one of the guys (6 to 8 dispensary raided 2xs back to back was their net haul of taking "criminal "off the street. He may not end up with anything or he might but it was all about tactics and a way to grab the stores whole inventory and other things making sure to tell them they wouldn't be able to sell anything until the new laws take effect. 2 years is what they think before many of the growing area and rest of chain of command will be ready to roll out our recreation medical cannabis.
