Is it ok to thin the inside of my plants in order to allow more light
to get inside?I'm growing Romulin and grape fruit. My current grow space is 7 x 7.My light is a 1000w HPS.I'm trying to maximize the yeald. How much thinning is too much.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.

Fan leaves are your solar pannels and absorb the light to give to the plant. So IMHO you are gonna cut off some of your solar pannels so light can get to other solar pannels?OK,"I" believe that you should leave it as is unless your trying to top your plant for for height reasons or more colas or to make more buds sights.IF not I think you should leave it as is.Good luck on your grow:farm:

If I have a fan leaf that is directly blocking a budsite, I remove that leaf. That way I don't remove any more than 5-10% of the fan leaves. I also use the LST method to expose those lower buds to light and keep my canopy lower overall.

Peace...j.b.
