What would you use? Which is better?

Ok... currently I am using 4 T12's for lighting. about 12,000 lumens.

would this 50 watt hps light be better than 4 T12's I am week 3 into flowering

im not sure, i couldnt figure out if the hps had more lumens or not.
I would assume that the hps would have more lumens....more heat too.
can you buy the 175 hps???

I just did a Google on "50 watt HPS lumens"

The returned links showed that a 50 watt HPS has about 4,000 lumens.

If your T-12's are giving you 12,000 lumens, you have enough lumens with them for about 4 square feet of plants. That's 2 feet by 2 feet.

If you're using more space than that, you need more light.
