That better be an entire light setup, not just the ballast... that's the kind of price you would pay for a 1000w Lumatek.

An interesting read for sure, this thread should be stickied. That could be because some electronic ballasts use built-in fans for cooling. Lumatek doesn't use any fans (they don't need them), and I have never heard one complaint or lamp failure with a Lumatek ballast.

Most nutrient lines will contain the trace minerals you need in at least one of their products. So if you are feeding your plants properly you won't have to worry about deficiencies from using extremely soft water.

That's an interesting idea you have there. So you're saying use the AC as the room exhaust and have one 8" intake? I would install the intake at the bottom of the room, and use a rack placed above the intake for the pots to ensure the plants don't get blown over. Would this be a sensible idea or...

If there is air movement and the humidity isn't exceeding 60% then you shouldn't have any problems with mold. Even at temperatures around 60-65 degrees it doesn't take too much longer than 1-1.5 weeks in my experience for the buds to be dry enough for the sealable jar stage.

If you want strong stems, use an oscillating fan to circulate air. If you want thick stems, then supercrop.

If you want to maximize your harvest for that space keeping them short and bushy is the best way to go.
