They will veg as big as you want to get them. They will not stop growing. If you get them too big, your lights will not be strong all over the plant and you will end up with a ton of crappy buds. Better to bloom them smaller and have the buds be huge. with seed plants I let them get about 9"-12"...

No no no. You can wish, but they all need the standard ballast, capacitor and ignitor. I have built my own for years buying from 1000bulbs.com. You need to buy the socket seperatly. They are about $75 total. Remember that 150hps and under usually use a medium base socket not a mogul base...

Looks great!!! Dont be afraid of hydro. It is much simpler and grows much faster. Try 4" rockwool cubes set in any container with Pure Blend Pro nutes. Hand water every few days just like soil, but better! Once you fall in love with it, setting up a tray to be flooded twice a day is so easy...
