anyone know about hard shell seeds?

i just ordered up 4 packs of lowryder and lowryder cross seeds from soulseeds and was just looking at the info on the strain three way i ordered ( http://www.soulseeds.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=6&category_id=1&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2 )
and it says at the bottom:

Difficulty level: Experienced due to a fairly hard shell

does this mean its hard to germinate? is there a different technique or way to germinate it?

err, never heard of that one.... i've always germed the same way... wet paper towel in a covered bowl.

Yeah...hard shell? arent they all hard? i'd hate to get a squishy seed LOL. It'll be fine, just go about your grow as you normally would, if you have questions ask up, they should do fine man =)

Remember, even if the difficulty is expert and you're not an expert, there are plenty of experts on marijuna passion that will be more than willing to give advice for your grow =) I look forward to seeing your grow!

Ive heard of people using a light grit sandpaper to roughen the shells before germ... making it easier for the seed to germ.... there might be a DIY or how to somewhere on the forum... But i agree with KADE.. wet paper towel is the best method.. i use a ziplock instead of a covered bowl..
